Overview:
Arcadis Recognition and Rewards is a service of Arcadis. This program is provided for all eligible colleagues of Arcadis in selected countries where Arcadis has implemented the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program. All users of this website agree that their access to and use of this website are subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein and all applicable laws. Any access is undertaken at the user’s own risk. These terms and conditions may change at any time without prior notice to users.
Eligibility:
Arcadis Recognition and Rewards is limited to current Arcadis colleagues in selected countries. Points earned in the program cease to exist when this eligibility is severed. No credit, transfer, or redemption of Reward Points is available after eligibility is severed. Refer to your region’s current Recognition and Rewards program document. Please note that this program is voluntary, and participants may choose to opt out at any time.
Changes and Disputes:
Arcadis reserves the right, without prior notice, to discontinue or change the terms and conditions that apply to the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program at any time.
All questions or disputes notified through HR Operations (HROperations.ANA@arcadis.com) regarding eligibility for this program, the eligibility of rewards, the availability of rewards or points, the terms and conditions of the program will be resolved by Arcadis at its sole discretion.
Participation Enrollment:
Each eligible colleague is automatically enrolled in the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program and will use their registration code and last name to gain access to the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards website.
Redemption and Deduction of Points:
1. It is the responsibility of each eligible participant to use their awarded Reward Points to redeem items from the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards online catalog. All participants’ Awardable Points will expire on December 31st of the current year. Spendable points that are older than 24 months will expire on the first of every month. Any Reward Points not redeemed before termination of the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program, will expire.
2. Per the current Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program document reward points may be used to redeem for items in the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards online catalog or cashed out via Arcadis Payroll based on minimum defined cash out requirements.
3. The Reward Points you accrue do not constitute your property. Any unredeemed points at termination of employment will be forfeited.
Arcadis North America Taxation
- Please note that claiming your prize by redeeming points is considered a taxable event referred to as Imputed Income at an amount equal to the fair market value of the item or items.
- Regardless if your prize is a physical item, a travel voucher, a gift card or an electronic gift card, the value of the item is considered income to you and will be added to a future paycheck and taxed appropriately.
- For example, if you choose to redeem your points for a $100 Amazon gift card, the $100 will be included in a future paycheck as income; and along with your bi-weekly pay, will be taxed. Therefore, your net pay will be less due to the additional taxes withheld for this $100 gift card.
- Remember to consider the value of the item and the effect it will have on your paycheck when redeeming points.
- Taxes: Reward selections redeemed under the Program are subject to applicable federal, statutory, state and/or local taxes based on the fair market value of the item or items. Payment of taxes resulting from these awards is the sole responsibility of the participating team member and not Arcadis ANA. Arcadis ANA will report earnings under this Program in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- For Canada: Redemption for non-cash items will be subject to tax at the FMV of the item plus the appropriate VAT or Sales Tax.
Claiming a Reward:
1. Arcadis Recognition and Rewards reserves the right to modify catalog items available in the Reward Points online catalog at any time and without notice.
2. When you have obtained sufficient points, you may redeem an item(s) from those described in the online catalog. Your balance of Reward Points will be deducted with the amount of Reward Points corresponding with the value as indicated in the online catalog at the moment of claiming a Reward.
3. Catalog items are subject to availability and substitutions may be made based on availability or market conditions.
4. Be sure to reference the Online Rewards Merchandise policies per the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program document for information on shipping and handling.
Statements of Arcadis Rewards Reward Points Earned:
This website provides eligible participants with details of transactions, as well as Arcadis Rewards Point balances.
Termination of Program:
It is the responsibility of each eligible participant to use their awarded points to redeem items from the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards online catalog. Arcadis Recognition and Rewards reserves the right to terminate the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program at any time without prior notice to you. If the program is suspended or terminated, any unredeemed Reward Points must be redeemed prior to the date of termination of the program.
Promotional Events:
From time to time, Arcadis, at its sole discretion, may sponsor events intended to promote participation in the Arcadis Recognition and Rewards program. These events may be terminated at any time, without cause or warning.
Privacy Notice:
This website is securely housed and operated by Online Rewards on behalf of Arcadis. The information collected on this website will be used by Arcadis in connection with the Arcadis Rewards program. Online Rewards does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes. They may disclose aggregated information about participants, and other information that does not personally identify any specific participant, without restriction.
